Ramboll has appointed Tommy Flindt as its new Global Director for Offshore Substations, effective 1 August. He will lead the company’s global offshore substations business, supported by a team of nearly 200 specialists.
Ramboll provides multidisciplinary services for the optimisation, development and design of both topside facilities and substructures. This includes technical engineering expertise as well as environmental impact assessments and permitting. The offshore substations team is part of Ramboll’s Wind Division, which comprises more than 900 experts working across the full life cycle of wind energy projects.
Tommy Flindt joins Ramboll from Copenhagen Offshore Partners, where he held the position of Senior Director. He has previously worked at Ørsted, Maersk and Semco Maritime. He will be based at Ramboll’s global headquarters in Copenhagen.
