Vestas has secured multiple onshore wind turbine orders in Germany totalling 273 MW, alongside further orders amounting to 320 MW in the USA for undisclosed projects. All orders form part of the company’s fourth-quarter order intake.
Windkraft Presen-Burgstaaken has ordered 43 MW for the Presen-Burgstaaken project, comprising seven V162-6.2 MW turbines. The project includes a 20-year service agreement, with delivery planned from the first quarter of 2027 and commissioning expected to begin in the second quarter of the same year.
Projekt Projektierungsgesellschaft für regenerative Energiesysteme has placed a 49 MW order for the Oldenbroker Feld Niederort project. The order includes six V162-7.2 MW turbines and one V150-5.6 MW turbine, supported by a 20-year active service agreement. Delivery is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2027, with commissioning planned for the second quarter.
iterra energy has secured two projects. The 48 MW Frielendorf-Waltersberg project will use eight V150-6.0 MW turbines under a 25-year service agreement, with delivery beginning in the second quarter of 2027 and commissioning in the third quarter. The Frielendorf-Dorheim project totals 24 MW and will consist of four V150-6.0 MW turbines, also covered by a 25-year service agreement, with delivery and commissioning planned to start in the first quarter of 2027.
JUWI has ordered turbines for two projects. The Arneburg Sanne project, with a capacity of 38 MW, will use five V162-6.2 MW turbines and one V162-7.2 MW turbine, supported by a 25-year service agreement. Delivery is planned to begin in the second quarter of 2027, with commissioning scheduled for the third quarter. The Reichenbach-Steegen project totals 25 MW and will comprise four V162-6.2 MW turbines, backed by a 20-year service agreement, with delivery starting in the first quarter of 2027 and commissioning in the second quarter.
An additional 46 MW order has been secured from an undisclosed customer for the Günstedt 2 project. The project will deploy a mixed fleet of three V172-7.2 MW turbines, three V162-6.2 MW turbines and one V150-6.0 MW turbine. It includes a 20-year service agreement, with delivery planned from the second quarter of 2027 and commissioning expected in the fourth quarter.
Outside Germany, Vestas has also received orders totalling 320 MW in the USA. No further information on customers, project locations or turbine models has been disclosed.
